- 4 Apr 1839 Elbert Co], m Sarah Varnon in Surry Co NC ca 14 Jan
1786/88, lived there 8-9 years before moving to Elbert Co where both
died and are buried. They had 11 children per Rev War Pension file.
Dau, Mary Vernon Dillard m Elder John Almand [1802-1838] in Elbert
Co & moved to Newton Co Ga. Elder John Almand was oldest child
of Thomas & Nancy David Almand. I have lots of Almand info
but little on Dillard line.
